In the morning when I leave home for office there is no electricity at home. When I reach my office there is no electricity there either. On an average I am spending Rs. 700 / day on feul for the generator to get the home and office electricity running while the electricity bill is continuing to be on the rise month by month irrespective of the loadshedding and powercuts.
To secure my car from being snatched or stolen, I am paying an average Rs. 500 / month to tracker company.
To secure my house, our neighbourhood committe has hired the services of security guards and again we are paying around Rs.1000 / month for the security.
At times our locality is without water due to one reason or the other and again I am spending around Rs.1500 per water tanker with an average of 2 tankers per month.
With the fear of mugging and mobile snatching incidents, I dont feel like walking on the road or pulling down the window of my car.
Once I could think of having my own home, but the rising rate of property is making it a distant dream.
The Indian Politician Lalu Parsad Yadav had many corruption cases against him.
He is now the Indian railway minister and have reportedly given huge profits to the indian railway.
I hope that the current lot of the Pakistani politicians will follow the footstep of lalu parsad yadav, and would turn dead units like railway and pia to profitable ones.
Having a look at the Olympics medal table it was disappointing to see that Pakistan did not win a single medal.
Where as countries like Zimbabwe, which from the news looks devastated, managed to win 4 medals.
Even war torn Afghanistan managed to win a bronze medal in karate, the first time in olympics history.
Even India and Iran won medals but we did not win a single medal.
Moreover, this time around we did not send any wrestlers or boxers to the event.
So like a tradition, may be this blame should also be passed on to the former president under whose regime our sport did not flourish or anyone else would stand up to own the blame.

Ethopia, a famine struck nation won 7 medals, with 4 gold.
While talking to a friend in the USA, he told me about his chat with an Ethopian guy, who said that facilities in ethopia were far lesser than that in Pakistan, what they did was focus on a single game "Track and field" as this only involves running and no special gears excpet shows and they did manage to get results.
This surely proves that if you are focussed and have the will you can succeed.
Ethopia is one such example.

A few schools have started a new trend of having their students' uniforms designed by some famous designer and then those uniforms are sold at a higher price due to its designer tag.
The logic is beyond apprehension, as unlike casual, formal, party and other wears which have a variety and options of designs, artwork, motive etc a uniform do not contain any such feature.
While designers boast of making only a small quantities of their designed dresses, a uniform is worn by hundreds of students at the same time.
Rather than having the uniforms designed by a designer, it would have been better if the schools would have employed the services of a good tailor.
