It was not a great sight to see our cricket team players coming out of the air port in normal clothes.
Pakistani cricket team after all was the world cup finalist and would have come out in their team uniform.
May be they were afraid of the reaction from the people back home and were looking for a hiding behind those plain clothes.

PCB did give adds in the local newpapers appreciating the efforts of the team, but should have done more by giving them a reception.
Players were praised and given cash award for making into the finals, but no one condoled with the team after it lost.

Pakistan cricket team was the worldcup finalist and should have held their heads high.
When Indian and Srilanka lost the worldcup final in 2003 and 2007 respectively, they were given a warm welcome back home.
France' football team was given a reception by the French president even thought they have lost in the worldcup final.

President and Prime Minister should invite the pakistani cricket team to their residence, may be on Eid.
I will also suggest a TV Channel inviting them and honouring them.
This will also help ease off the negative effect the team develops after everytime it looses.
