The amount of loss the country bore on 27th December is far more than the total efforts put in the 7 years of the government.
All the hard work of the government for the last 7 years has been undone in just 3 days.

On top of it the security heads of the country claim, and as is predicted, that they didnot intervene in the mob launching their protest in shape looting or setting property on fire to avoid any fruther clash and harsh feelings among them.

In doing so, they ignored the importance of security and smooth flow of life and the enormous loss it would put on the economy and the people of pakistan.
That they infact failed to mobilize their troops to stand-by position in case situation gets any worse. People had to wait for the next day for the rangers and army to arrive in the city.

Even if they would have clashed with the mob, it would have been far better than to let them let loose on a looting spree.
Clashing with them would not have caused the amount of loss that we are facing today.

Despite long claims of the government of economic development in the country , the dollar is at its 5 year high at Rs. 63.00 where as all major currencies of the world are getting stronger against the dollar, ours is getting weaker.

Our government always wants to compare our economy and pricing with India, but have they even taken into account that today Indian ruppee is at all time stronger against US Dollar.

Today our government compare the prices of wheat, cooking oil, rice, petrol against those of the International market, boasting that Pakistani prices are still lesser than the International market, but they fail to compare the living standards, minimum wage structure, basic health and house facilities and other indicators.

Let us have all the pricing structure as per International Standard and both the people and government would be happy.

We have been a major wheat and cotton producer but today the people have to make long ques and search for wheat.
Next problem we should anticipate is cotton crisis and then mid May we will have another crisies of Sugar.
Every year these crises come and go.

Committies are made, inquiries are done and "strict action would be taken" is now a shakespearan era word.
In my 29 years, I have never seen any outcome of a committie or an inquiry except for the hamood ur rehman commission which saw the light of the day, due to reasons beyond my apphrehension.

God Bless Pakistan and its citizens.
