Just approved! - The most people singing a national anthem simultaneously... is 5,857 and was achieved by I Own Pakistan (Pakistan) at the DA Zamzama Club, Karachi, Pakistan, on 14 August 2011. The participants sang the Pakistan National Anthem 'Pak Ser Zameen Shad Baad' on the country's independence day

Just as i was waiting and waiting and staring the GWR (guinness world record) facebook page, there was a ray of hope that today I would be hearing some news, either good or bad.

And in the end, GWR facebook page sent the feed:

This is what we have been waiting for more than 2 months.

It was not just a mere record, it was passion, optimism and hope for the nation.
It was hard work by me and abid and in the end i am glad it paid off.

For more than 2 months we worked hard on the project, we are eating, thinking, sleeping and dreaming only about this event.

I would say that GOD was with us in every step of this event.
Having India's record of "vande matram" disqualifited from GWR to having the venue on complimentary basis from DHA and then people embracing the rain and thunderstorm to stay there at the venue wishing to achieve the record.
